Ventilation Systems
The function
of this unit is to supply filtered cool air in tunnels and control
rooms for comfort ventilation. This blower sucks the outside air
through intake louvers and filtered in HDP filters provided in the
unitary air filtration unit. The water with suitable pumps is sprayed
on filters through nozzles and gets mixed up with the air. Thus dry air
temperature of air approach towards wet bulb temperature and hence the
air gets cooled. The HDP climinator provided in unitary air filtration
unit eliminates the carry over water droplets with filtered cooled air
and the air is distributed in the Tunnels/MCC room through GI ducting
and MS supply air grills.
